Industrialized

The Blue Diversion Toilet is designed for high-volume industrialized manufacturing and assembly. Some parts of the toilet are almost ready for industrialization. Some critical components require reengineering and cost reduction before the toilet will be available for commercialization.

The water wall is produced by rotational moulding which is
a widespread production technology.

Large market potential & New markets can be explored

Since the Blue Diversion Toilet is (re)movable, there are many markets for it. The toilet will be attractive to people who are normally not willing to invest in sanitation. Moreover, we plan to extend the modular Blue Diversion Toilet product range with a simple Diversion Pan & Container solution and a sitting model to cover the broad range of market segments. The Diversion Pan with containers toilet does not include the water features or the water recovery technology. It is meant to reach the poorest of the poor and to increase the amount of urine and faeces collected for fertilizer production.
